Central Maine Pulmonary is comprised of board-certified pulmonologists and critical care physicians, along with other highly-trained staff, dedicated to the treatment of pulmonary disease, including, but not limited to, Alpha 1 anti-trypsin deficiency, COPD, asthma, and sarcoidosis. CMPSM also offers diagnostic services including endobronchial ultrasound technology with biopsy, among other services. Other pulmonary services offered include comprehensive asthma education, pulmonary rehabilitation initiation, management of asthma in pregnancy, bronchial thermoplasty, and cardiopulmonary stress testing. This practice continues to receive some of the highest scores in customer service at Central Maine Medical Center and has won various awards for presentations given by its well qualified staff.
